1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing, accessing, or using Signal Morph ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not install or use the Extension. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Signal Morph.
2. Description of Service
The Extension is a Chrome browser extension that replaces the default new tab page with a customizable, productivity-oriented interface. The Extension provides features including but not limited to customizable layouts, widgets, quick links, and visual themes. All user preferences are stored locally on your device using the chrome.storage API.
The Extension does not require account registration, login, or any form of personal identification. It operates entirely within the browser environment and does not transmit user data to external servers.
3. No Warranty
The Extension is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. Signal Morph expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee that the Extension will meet your specific requirements or expectations. Your use of the Extension is at your sole risk.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Signal Morph and its developers, contributors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Extension, regardless of the theory of liability.
In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid for the Extension, which is zero, as the Extension is provided free of charge.
5. Sponsored Content
The Extension may display sponsored content, including banner advertisements and promoted cards, within the new tab interface. All sponsored content is clearly labeled and visually distinguished from organic content.
Signal Morph may integrate third-party advertising services to deliver sponsored content. These third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Signal Morph is not responsible for the content, accuracy, legality, or practices of third-party advertisers or their services.
The presence of sponsored content does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee by Signal Morph of any advertised product, service, or entity.
6. Third-Party Links
The Extension may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources. These links are provided for convenience only. Signal Morph has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, terms of service, or practices of any third-party websites or services. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk and subject to the terms and conditions of those third parties.
7. Modification of Terms
Signal Morph reserves the right to modify, amend, or replace these Terms of Service at any time at its sole discretion. Changes will be effective upon posting the updated terms with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Extension following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically. If you do not agree with any modifications, you must discontinue use of the Extension and uninstall it.
8. Termination
You may terminate your use of the Extension at any time by uninstalling it from your browser. Upon uninstallation, all locally stored data associated with the Extension will be permanently deleted.
Signal Morph reserves the right to discontinue, suspend, or terminate the availability of the Extension at any time, with or without notice, for any reason. Signal Morph shall not be liable to you or any third party for any discontinuation or termination of the Extension.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or the Extension shall be resolved in a competent jurisdiction. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
10. Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Service is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.
